Yeah, have to agree with permafrost here. Not really seeing why the songs being untitled is pretentious at all. Regardless though, this album is alright, but it at times almost sounds like a parody of Ágætis byrjun. I will agree that the first track is beautiful, but other than that, I find the record to be incredibly forgettable.

I love this album, it's so beautiful and poignant. Like with Agaetis byrjun, I get new things out of it with every listen. I don't give a shit if it's "pretentious" or anything, what matters is if i like the music, and I like it a lot. My favorite tracks at the moment are 4 & 8.

AB is more accessible and it is great but this is better. It is a better AB, It is structured better and even when it sounds like AB it is better within that structure
Also, Valtari can be amazing at times.
These are albums that need 10 listens
AB is quick

I like the second half better. Also I thought pretentious meant to try to be impressive or imply superiority. How does not naming your tracks do that? Also if kidamnesiac has this much perseverance in everything that he does then kudos to him.
