When I was a lad, my conservative parents heard a Rush Limbaugh Paul Shanklin parody of the big single called "Werewolves in Congress". The original is pretty good, but I'm still trying to forget about that.

cool that this landed as our Halloween AOTD. Used to have Werewolves in London on my deliberately-not-scary Halloween playlist

Haha, I forgot about this album! My Mum had it and I used to listen to it quite a bit when I was younger. But I haven't heard it in ages. The song I remember most is Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner. I think I just liked the story at the time, and thought it was sort of funny- the "son of a bitch" line probably appealed too! Anyway, from what I remember it's a pretty good album; might have to pull it out and have a listen again soon Very Happy

I was just talking about this with my in-laws. Totally unrelated to the haloween connection too. Don't know how I missed that.
