I think the beauty of this album (and other electric Dylan albums) is that this isn't necessarily a "Bob Dylan" album only, it's the whole band. Robbie Robertson's biting guitar licks, Al Kooper's fantastic organ work, the whole band as a cohesive unit support Dylan at the peak of his creativity, it's a perfect storm of artistry and one of my favorite Dylan albums. I feel like you could write a book on a lyrical analysis of this album _________________ 2023 Chart

Hm yeah, hate to be the buzzkill, but this one was always over my head. I'm a huge Dylan fan, but this one always felt too long and pretty inconsistent, tbh. The second LP in particular is pretty lackluster. However, I certainly won't deny that it's got its fair share of bangers, in particular "Stuck Inside of Mobile" and "Rainy Day Women".

My favourite album ever. On this Dylan shows us all his individualism. This work is not only good poetry, it's a flight of soul with some piano and organ. I think it's better than "Highway 61 Revisited" beacuse sound on this album is more elegant and beautiful and, as I think, it was written by biggest inspiration in Bob's life. Mostly I like "One Of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later)".
