TOP 100 ARTISTS:
CCR (got their albums on #51, #91, and #99 + two more very good albums)
Green Day (#55 and #57 + 3 very good ones)
Aretha Franklin (#60 + 1)
Tom Waits (#72 + 4)
Steve Earle (#77 + 2)
J.J. Cale (#87 and a compilation that would be top ten if I included those)
Willie Nelson (#93 + 3)
George Thorogood (#95 + 4)

OTHER MENTIONS:
Johnny Cash (tons of good stuff but no album that charts higher than #146)
Waylon Jennings (unable to reach higher than #164 but one of my all time favorites)
Toby Keith (six strong albums but the highest below the #200 mark)
Brad Paisley (modern country's greatest guitarist but with only three strong albums)

Yay I found this thread Razz

Well the ones that come to my mind first:
Nirvana - I actually had Unplugged in my top 50 for a while
Pixies - Doolittle is very close to my chart.
Joanna Newsom - actually only one of her albums - Milk-Eyed Mender - comes close to my chart (not very close though) but I really like her as an artist + I absolutely adore some of her songs..
Also The Smashing Pumpkins, though I think that only Adore would be in my top 100.. Other albums are all good, but I seem to prefer particular songs to albums as a whole (this is particularly the case with Mellon Collie)
(There are more of course..)

I'll add Björk to this list. I've (re)listened to Sugarcubes' debut earlier today and I'm currently listening to Tappi Tikarrass, a band she was in, when she was a late teen.
I really admire her - I love her voice, and I think that everything she did was .. interesting, even before her solo career.. I kind of want to put one of her albums on my chart just because of that... Currently none of them are really close, but I still got a few left to listen to.
