The Black Keys - El Camino
Daughn Gibson - All Hell
Echo & The Bunnymen - Ocean Rain
Roy Orbison - Crying
The Walkmen - Bows + Arrows (I like angela surf city, but not the rest of Lisbon)

I'm right there with you in regards to Daughn Gibson. I loved that record and didn't like anything that followed at all. With the Black Keys, it's funny El Camino is likely my least favorite of their records. With Echo & The Bunnymen, I hold Porcupine to the same high esteem as Ocean Rain. Crying is definitely my favorite Orbison, but feel like In Dreams is nearly as good.
The Walkmen is possibly my favorite rock band of the 21st century. Bows + Arrows has long been my favorite, but I'd think fans of that record would also really enjoy You & Me and Everyone Who Pretended.... Guess not. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

The Stone Roses, self-titled.
The Smiths....Queen is Dead is wonderful but to me their other albums are largely padding for great singles.
Wu-Tang Clan
