Not a Cumbrian, but the old girl lives in Silloth, so I'm up a couple of time a year.

Westmorland services is also rather splendid.

Ahh, well as a south Cumbrian by birth my fav service station was always this.

Clearest sign you've entered the outside world.

Anyway here's my list of fav cookies by maker (not including all the variations ala smarties, rolos... that'd take too long)

1: Sainsbury's Taste the difference - simply the best ones going, but they're never at a discount anymore.
2: The ones sold on floor 2 of the main campus building at my uni - very good but I rarely get them cos there's a £3 limit on card transactions.
3: Co-Op Simply Irresistible - eating a milk choc one rn very nice.
4: Greggs cookies - Nice but I always feel a bit dead after eating one.
5: Asda cookies - Not much to them but they are only a quid after all.
6: Co-Op £1 cookies - not chewy at all, feels wrong calling them cookies.
