This album works, like a Brian Eno ambient record, in that it can be ignored, or you can give your attention to it if you wish. It's like Eno with strings. They're mood pieces. They're instrumental. Vocal music doesn't work for me, it's as if another person is in the room, or in my head.

Although I barely notice music during sex
