Feels more like a callback to late '60s to early '70s pop and krautrock rather than anything that happened in the 90s... not that I'm complaining, though, the music's pretty killer.

A great raw shoegaze effort from the early nineties. Stereolab would be a highly polished and sophisticated studio band within a few years but this is as good as anything except Cobra Phases in their canon.

This ain’t even shoegaze at all, tho.

Pretty much one of the forefathers of post-rock, just listen to some of the textures and tonal shifts in Jenny Ondioline. It's one of my favorites. 10/10.
