I was gonna do a top 50 list, but who has that kind of time? Here's a top ten.

1. Gorillaz - Demon Days (assuming you count it)
2. Blockhead - The Music Scene
3. Flobots - Fight With Tools
4. Morcheeba - Dive Deep
5. Kanye West - Twisted Fantasy
6. Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass
7. The Roots - Phrenology
8. Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill (or maybe Paul's Boutique... fuck...)
9. MIA - Kala
10. Run-DMC - Raising Hell

(Honorable mention goes out to N.E.R.D.'s "In Search Of..."

As for the topic itself, I only got into hip hop recently so I only listened to about 20 albums so far...
My current top 5:
1. Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by Wu-Tang Clan
2. Madvillainy by Madvillain
(3. Plastic Beach by Gorillaz (if it counts as a hip hop album))
4. Illmatic by Nas
5. 3 Feet High & Rising by De La Soul
And considering Plastic Beach is only "half-hip hop" =>
6. 3 Years, 5 months & Days in the life of... by Arrested Development

I will make a longer list when I listen to some more stuff (like solo albums by Wu-Tang members)
