Dored, indeed acclaimedmusic is a superb site but this site purely concentrates on determining the best ever albums from the 'greatest album' listings and from user-submitted charts. The 'add chart' functionality is something that no other site, as far as I know, is doing (a key reason for choosing chart creation over voting when it came to designing the functionality.)
When you combine the add chart functionality with a very strict selection criteria for the authoritative lists and the ability to create customised aggregated rankings, we think this puts our own unique angle on things.

My real Suggestion is that in acclaimedmusic they have some more lists from anothers countrys (outside year, genre, decade, etc. lists), that will be great in here, and they also have some easier way to find albums.
What do you think? _________________ AY AY AY AY CANTA Y NO LLORES PORQUE CANTANDO SE ALEGRAN CIELITO LINDO LOS CORAZONES

acclaimedmusic have done a superb job of collating all kinds of charts and presenting the information very well.
The real aim of this site is to evolve via community functionality.
On this site, your all-time list can be just as important as Rolling Stone's and when you put the lists together you can do some interesting things.
Examples:
Q. Which albums that are on my all-time list, are also on yours?
OK Computer and Pet Sounds
You've also listed The Bends in your list. I'd probably like that too.
What if this site could tell you, which other charts have OK Computer in and then show you all rock albums in these lists or all other lists with Radiohead? I think that would be a great way of discovering new music.
Q. What albums are in your list that are not in mine?
There's a good chance I might like a lot of your choices since you already list two albums I chose. In fact I do. I considered Portishead, Bowie and Dylan for mine. We both have great taste I might want to try the Gorillaz album (I'm behind the times!)
So, I hope you get an idea of the direction this site is going in.
Critic's lists will continue to be an important part of this site (and will continue to be added as qualifying lists are published), but over time as the community grows, these lists will become proportionately less important .
