Edit: I double-checked and there is one album that is in someone else's chart.
Do you delete an album from your chart If somebody else likes it Bobby
I suppose there must be one album that somebody else likes that you like as well.
I just explained the reason. I said that I haven't listened to much new music at all this year. And only one type. Looking at your choices, looks like I haven't missed much. And if you are trying to imply that I'm a hipster who only likes music that nobody ever heard of, you would only have to look at all of my charts to see that the opposite is true, I've actually always liked the most mainstream and popular music there is. Unlike most people here.
My comment was so over the top it could only be read as a humorous observation. I know from your other charts and general comments that you have a broad taste.
Wow! Thanks for this! I had been missing my Parquet Courts fix for 2017. Somehow this went under my radar. Loved it, listened to it a couple of times already and will some more for sure.
Sananda Maitreya, formerly known as Terence Trent D'Arby, with a voice still as glorious as Sam Cooke, makes an indulgent triple album that sounds to me like "Around The World In A Day" era Prince psychedelia, mixed with Todd Rundgren's wilful quirkiness.
They're a new band from California, with a lot of pop appeal so I think they might hit it big. I had the chance to interview them earlier this year and their concert was pretty fun. Cool guys, fun music. _________________
