I find I have a longer attention span when watching TV than films, which is odd. I'll often dive into an 8-episode series without question, but I'll hesitate with a 2.5-3 hour movie. I put of watching Apocalypse Now for nearly 3 years Laughing

Agree this is a big reason. Also TV series have enough time to deeply develop characters and then you spend so much time with them that you get attached to them.

Of course it depends on the TV show and the movie. An excellent movie that's light can be pretty addictive in terms of giving you the urge to rewatch it. I really liked Legion (TV show), but it's very arty and I found that I wasn't always up to watching it. I could not bingewatch a season of it in two days or even a week.

Apocalypse Now isn't your average long movie! It's very challenging for a Hollywood film -- episodic, murky, ramshackle. Though it's considered a great classic by a majority it does have its detractors.

I find if I watch more than two TV episodes a day, I don't process them as well. Bingewatching might feel good in the moment -- cliffhangers! What happens next? -- but I don't think it's the best way to absorb a good show.

And this is where I start to disagree with the charts maybe? (as one who mostly likes the overall results, kind of)... I think there are some fantastic records out of the 2000's.

And I'm also starting to see why many disagree that the 2010s are rubbish. IDK.

Good music is good music.

Ill try another ranking with my AOTY, but 2003 easily wins this not because of a few obvious canonical classics but rather through a rich, deep class of terrific albums

2003: Cat Power- You Are Free
> 2000: Modest Mouse- The Moon & Antarctica
> 2007: Burial- Untrue
> 2004: Feist- Let it Die
> 2005: Anthony & the Johnsons- I am a Bird Now
> 2002: Broken Social Scene- You Forgot it in People
> 2006: Joanna Newsom- Ys
> 2001: Sparklehorse- It's a Wonderful Life
> 2009: Dirty Projectors- Bitte Orca
> 2008: Grouper- Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill
