Oh, they sure do. This is my all-time favorite krautrock album cover;
Timewind by Klaus Schulze

Yeah, a great one. I've actually seen it in a album cover art book. Salvador Dali-like:

Yeah you're right. It does look like it. That's cool. I never saw that before.

Salvador Dali's paintings, though they doesn't always get much respect in the art world, are absolutely perfect for 70s prog covers.

I would definitely check out Can's discography, they are one of my absolute favorite artists of all time. Definitely in my top 5. My personal favorite is Ege Bamyasi; it has shorter songs and a bit more catchiness while maintaining their signature weirdness. Tago Mago is their magnum opus and what most people would tell you to listen to. Future Days is an amazing ambient exploration. Everything else is worth listening to as well.
I see you're already into Neu!, so I would also check out Faust, Tangerine Dream, and Popol Vuh. I'm sure others have already mentioned these groups but thats my two cents.

Can't thank you guys enough for all of the recommendations.
I'll be keeping my eyes out for all of these crazy cover-arts while digging in the crates.
