And yes - DISHWALLA was totally a big part of my 15 year old self as well. I think I listened to that hit song of theirs like 937457384 times over a summer once - on repeat many days to be honest with a friend of mine. Summer of like 98? 99?

but did you listen to the two albums that came after their one-hit-wonder? cause their first album was pretty underwhelming outside that big hit, but they got much, much better.

I keep shifting everything constantly, and I still feel like I'm lying through my teeth. Any helpful comments? Really upset.

All you can do is list what you love as soon as you love it. I only have one list and it is of what I think are the two best albums from my most favorite singers and whenever I've discovered someone new, I add what I think are their two best albums to the list. You can only list what you think is good since it is your list and if others don't care for the music that you spotlight, oh well.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I've seen what's been said about my list and what people have put out there so far about it doesn't bother me. For the most part, I've never been a listener of what is considered good by the majority of everyone else (There's been a moment or two where I musically connected with those of that group.) and so I know what can be put out there when others share their two pennies. I just listen to what I love and if anyone else happens to like it as well, cool. If not, that only means more of the "barbecue" for me to enjoy. Smile Smile Smile

Yeah I don't see why your list is getting so much hate. I feel like my list is pretty radical for the conservative tastes here and I still have what I consider to be a great rating (appreciate it folks Smile ). Maybe I've thrown in just enough classic favorites to keep everyone satisfied, but that's only because I happen to like the music on them. Its kind of like an escape from the music of today, which I appreciate because its different, but no way in hell am I gonna ignore the amazing stuff going on recently and I've even been a part of.

^^^ That right there is how it should be. Just listen to what you love no matter how old or new it is or how popular. My most favorites are not a part of the new crowd, but that doesn't mean that I don't love what is new. To me, the best duo in country music these days is the one named High Valley, but of course they are not the most popular one.

God bless you and them and my other favorite acts always!!!

Holly

P.S. The good that has been said about my favorites list is very much appreciated too. Actually every message is appreciated because its better than my favorite music not getting any attention at all. It took one of my late favorites 20 years to find his way back to the front burner, I love my beautiful precious Billy Joe Royal SO much!!!
