I'm going to have to abstain- Emo and Slowcore sound like genres I like that have gone wrong Where's the jangly guitars and catchy chorus?
I'll see myself out.
I don't know, songs that have very catchy choruses (in this genre at least) tend to age poorly IMO. Lucy Dacus springs to mind lately, her songs with the 'catchiest' choruses on Historians are the songs I skip now, even if I liked them initially. Her rambling songs have only gotten better. There's something to songs like these two which are less structured that tend to stick around for me.
(But hey, if you listen to Division again on decent headphones, that second guitar which is panned more to the center is a Danelectro, about as jangly as you can get! Thow me a vote man! LOL) _________________ Some New Ordeal (Spotify/iTunes/Deezer)
That Camp Cope song is one of my favourite finds of the tourney. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
Allright all you cis-het white men, I can't allow you to comment on this match
So much for the patriarchy. Checkmate, feminists!
(I keed, I keed!)
No shame in losing so close to a good song. (If anyone wants to stop and give me a rating, or maybe put me in a chart even, I'd love it. Also still welcoming feedback via PM if you have any.)
