I used to listen to these as a kid and had the 4 up to and including Hysteria. I can't stomach any of it now apart from High n Dry, which I started listening again to recently and find to be a rather fine record. A fine melodic heavy rock record just on from the NWOBHM with ACDC and Lizzy influences. I've heard plenty of Hysteria era on the radio since and it's not for me. Pyromania I may have to listen to again, but from memory it's just a tamer version of Hysteria.

After listening to Def Leppard's pyromania and high n dry I can't hear anything else because everything seems irrelevant to me. And with you?

Def Leppard is good for one thing. You're out at the bar and wanna score a 50 year old blonde broad in denim with fake tits. Buy her a couple drinks, play some tracks from Hysteria on the jukebox, and put your hand on her thigh during "Animal". When "Pour Some Sugar On Me" plays she gets up and starts dancing. Dance with her. I know you don't like to dance but it'll be fun, I promise. Then when "Love Bites" comes on you slow dance. As the title track starts you hug her respectfully and go have one more drink before going to her house and hit it until she has to wake her grandkids up for school.

Maybe that's just a southern thing but it works down here.

I like hardrock and I saw them live when they toured with the Scorpions somewhere in the stone ages and even then I didn’t like them and my view on them hasn’t changed.
