You can see the lowest ranking albums on the yearly charts for 1976, 1974 and every year before 1972 by clicking on the last two pages of the chart (ex. page 97). You can get very close to the lowest ranking albums for the rest of the 70s yearly charts by clicking on page 100 or 99.
Probably wouldn't be useful to sort albums by lowest ranking, because then you'd just get a mish-mosh of the albums that are the lowest ranked albums on only one yearly chart. And you wouldn't necessarily be getting the worst albums -- more of a mix of most obscure and not-quite-worst -- because few if any members include albums they think are outright bad on their charts. There would be a lot of albums technically tied for last place because they all have just one point. The order might fluctuate a lot.
Better to do it by rating. Don't know how much demand there would be for this feature. I'd like to see the lowest rated albums, but I probably wouldn't check it out that often. Albummaster, would it be possible for you to post the lowest rated albums the way you do with the monthly chart movements, either included with the monthly chart movements or somewhere else (once a year might be plenty).
I'll add this to the list for a future update. As you say, sorting by rating might be a better idea if this was to be implemented. Lowest ranking albums are likely to have zero points (e.g. albums added to custom charts but not in year/decade/overall lists), so it'll more likely be a list of obscure albums that nobody else has listed rather than the 'worst' albums.
