Post subject: Did 2020 suddenly take a jump in quality?
2020's first quarter doesn't have a lot going for it. There's been some cool stuff but nothing that screams, "2020 rocks!" Within the last week or so we've seen the release of Fetch the Bolt Cutters and the leaks of Im Wald and Stare Into Death and Be Still. All of these albums currently have a 4.0 rating on Rateyourmusic with a few hundreds of votes for the later two and over 6,000 votes for the new Fiona Apple. This is followed by Mestarin kynsi which has a 3.99 rating. The new Ulcerate isn't even out for two days and who knows when the Im Wald release will be. Is this an indicator of a brighter year ahead? _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802
It's been pretty consistent throughout for me (since albums started actually being properly released that is), maybe I'm just weird and out of touch though? _________________

Maybe it's just the 2020 hype. A new decade means a new era, so there's a lot of excitement, especially since people are in their houses more often now. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802
