Like The Soft Bulletin it's just a little too pop-oriented to be my number 1 album by the artist, not to mention it's a bit monotonous. It's still a beautiful album but I prefer Spirit They've Gone, Spirit They've Vanished and their best, Strawberry Jam.

Probably heard Summertime Clothes 100+ times as how much I play Skate 3.

Man this album is fantastic and so easy to get lost in. What I love about the band that makes them sound unlike anyone else (both live and in the studio) is that they eschew sequencing in favour of triggering their samples live, in an effort to lend their electronic elements a looser, more human feel. I really liked what Ben H. Allen the producer of MPP said about their recording process, "That was the game plan from the get‑go, for me, that was so challenging technically. They're all playing samples and sequences and recorded material with no synchronisation protocol between any of their machines whatsoever. They've created all these loops on their little samplers and they play them just like a guitar player would play in time with a drummer."
