I was the exact right age for this to be the most important album in the world to me when it came out. I'll revisit it every couple years, and it still holds up.

Track picks
2. Jesus Of Suburbia
3. Holiday
10. Letterbomb
13. Whatsername

I just missed it so I really didn't like it when it came out. I had just started listening to classick rock so I was being snobby and really didn't appreciate any of the modern rock music. But after the years have passed and I matured I came to like it so much more. It's a great album. Green Day is defintely head and shoulders above the other pop punk bands of their era songwriting wise and it shows here.
Jesus Of Suburbia is a masterpiece, but the non single track I've always had a soft spot for is Give Me Novacaine.
