Blue is my favorite Joni album but man if this isn't a SUPER close second.
The Circle Game is probably one of the 5 best songs she's ever written, and I was privileged enough to see her perform it earlier this year at the Gershwin Awards in DC where she was being honored. She sang it alongside Brandi Carlisle, Marcus Mumford, Graham Nash, James Taylor, Annie Lennox, and Cyndi Lauper, and it was a truly beautiful experience _________________ Progressive Rock

This has about half a dozen great songs on it. But most of them I like better on her live album Miles of Aisles, especially Rainy Night House and Circle Game. A lot of her early songs I only listen to on that album.

^This must have been absolutely phenomenal. That’s awesome you got to see it.
LOTC is a great Joni album on the whole, but it ends with two of her most enrapturing tracks. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
