I am not ready to let go of Toby Keith. Go here for a picture of me and my mom with him at the CMA Music Festival on June 13, 2000. This was just two months after his song named "How Do You Like Me Now?" finished its five-week stay at #1. My mom and me were at the event because it was her high school graduation gift to me. Toby couldn't have been more of a gentleman to us.

Mojo Nixon was one crazy fucker. He made insane records that told us that Michael J. Fox has no Elvis in him, and to let us know that "Debbie Gibson Is Pregnant with My Two-Headed Love Child". Mojo died on a cruise ship yesterday, where he was performing on the Outlaw Country Cruise...a party I can surely envy. Myself, I will miss Mojo for two things:
1. His line "George Jones sings so good, make your dick hard".
And 2....the greatest song about Elvis Presley ever been made:

Eric Carmen had one of my favorite ballads of all-time, "The Way We Used to Be". I used to play this song over and over again when I was a teenager and I still love the song to this day.
