Here's mine: https://letterboxd.com/eyekanfly/list/e...s-of-2023/

Subject to change, but unless something drastic changes, here are my acting and score choices:

Actor:
- Enzo Vogrincic as Numa Turcatti in Society of the Snow
- Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer
- Esteban Kukuriczka as Fito Strauch in Society of the Snow
- Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss in Oppenheimer
- Ryan Gosling as (Beach) Ken in Barbie
- Jay Baruchel as Mike Lazaridis in Blackberry
- Teo Yoo as Hae Sung in Past Lives
- Glenn Howerton as Jim Balsillie in Blackberry
- Agustín Pardella as Nando Parado in Society of the Snow
- Milo Machado-Graner as Daniel Maleski in Anatomy of a Fall

Actress:
- Lily Gladstone as Mollie Burckhart in Killers of the Flower Moon
- Greta Lee as Nora in Past Lives
- Margot Robbie as (Stereotypical) Barbie in Barbie
- Sandra Hüller as Sandra Voyter in Anatomy of a Fall
- Carey Mulligan as Felicia Montealegre Bernstein in Maestro
- Emma Stone as Bella Baxter in Poor Things
- Ariela Barer as Xochitl in How to Blow Up a Pipeline
- Sasha Lane as Theo in How to Blow Up a Pipeline
- Ayo Edibiri as Josie in Bottoms
- Rachel Sennott as PJ in Bottoms

Acting honorable mentions:
- Messi as Snoop in Anatomy of a Fall
- Antoine Reinartz as the Prosecutor General in Anatomy of a Fall (hated this guy which makes me think his performance was excellent, but wasn't really developed enough to include above)
- all the rest of the actors and actress in Society of the Snow

Score:
- Black Country, New Road Live at Bush Hall
- Barbie (soundtrack by various artists produced by Mark Ronson, score by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt)
- Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse by Daniel Pemberton
- Killers of the Flower Moon by Robbie Robertson
- Asteroid City (compilation soundtrack by various artists, score by Alexandre Desplat)
- Oppenheimer by Ludwig Göransson
- Past Lives by Christopher Bear and Daniel Rossen
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (compilation soundtrack by various artists, score by John Murphy)
- Nimona by Cristophe Beck
- The Super Mario Bros. Movie by Brian Tyler & Koji Kondo
- Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves by Lorne Balfe

I've included 11 for score; I picked Guardians of the Galaxy almost entirely for the compilation soundtrack and not the original stuff, so if that's ineligible please throw D&D in at the end.

Thanks EyeKanFly— will tally in 1 sec—

I'm going to tally your acting lists in ascending order (Enzo & Lily @ #1, etc, Milo & Rachel at #10)— let me know if that's wrong though.

I completely disregarded Live At Bush Hall's eligibility. You're right though— technically a film score Think Eh? (a la Stop Making Sense). I'm going to rule out the Guardians of The Galaxy soundtrack due to the reason you mentioned (more a soundtrack than an original score).

And I thought about allowing Messi to be included, but suppose that opens a can of worms. Phenomenal performance of course.

My score list—

1) Barbie (Various)
2) Wonka (Various)
3) Theatre Camp (Various)
4) Monster (Sakamoto)
5) Oppenheimer (Goransson)
6) Killers of The Flower Moon (Robertson)
7) Live At Bush Hall (BCNR)
8) Asteroid City (Desplat + Various)
9) Past Lives (Bear & Rossen)
10) Godzilla Minus One (Satou)

**have yet to hear The Boy & The Heron, but I might give it a spin soon.

Yes about order for acting & score, sorry for the confusion!

Sounds good about the soundtracks/score as well. Live at Bush Hall was my 2nd favorite album of last year, no-brainer for score if it's eligible. I assume something like Eras Tour wouldn't be eligible since it's a compilation album of sorts? Haven't watched that yet but I probably will before the deadline.

Another edit. Loved Evil Does Not Exist. If there was enough time before the deadline I foresee my rewatch bumping it even higher.

All good, tallied— one of my higher late-watch entries myself. Really good film from Hamaguchi. Sometimes I forget the wave of accolades Drive My Car unexpectedly got... still haven't quite come to terms it got a BP nom. A fantastic, equally subtle follow-up. Hamaguchi's found his sound.

Interesting spread from the submissions so far— 141 films submitted, but not a lot of overlap between the lists. Hoping to get at least another 5-6 in before the deadline Smile

Also edited my scores list because I completely overlooked Sakamoto (I wasn't the biggest fan of Monster and I even went to see it twice).
