Having just seen Notorious recently, i was thinking about other bio-pics, and was wondering if anyone here appreciates them (doesn't have to be music, but musical ones are always a plus).

Favorites:
1.Milk
2. Walk the Line
3. October Sky
4. Ghandi
5. Chariots of fire
6. The Elephant Man
7. Elizabeth
8. Catch me if you can

if you consider Goodfellas a bio-pic, then that would be my favorite, but I don't really

Three More Biography Genres:

Thelonious Monk: Straight, No Chaser (1988)
Immortal Beloved (1994)
The Music Lovers (1970)

These three failed to earn any awards yet are still pretty good especially for those who enjoy music.

I do, on occasion enjoy this genre. But I still think it's ridiculous for any movie in this genre to receive an Oscar for "Best Original Screenplay".

Sorry, I'm not going to budge on that one Wink
