Yourselfisntsteam, I have a feeling you haven't listened to a lot of music between the times of Arnold Schoenberg and Vivaldi?

I find it funny that I tried to talk about the best American bands of the 2000s, and we end up talking about Muse.

I think its my fault... Anxious

But to respond to Setmadsen, yeah, I'm no expert on classical music, but I have a basic grasp of music history and have listened to a bit of every era. I was being partially sarcastic in mocking the muse song, but what bugs me about it is that to me it isnt that the string arrangements are bad, it just sounds like they copy and pasted those string melodies and arrangements out of pretty much every dramatic film soundtrack ever instead of trying to do something different, then combined them with super obnoxious stadium rock with absolutely no emotional subtlety. Not my thing.
