how does it feel like not to like the most acclaimed and loved album of the decade ?

I'm not sure that's entirely true... I think it'd probably be Funeral, if anything.

Not to mention, quite a few people on this site hate Kid A, including, if I recall correctly, the albummaster himself, so it isn't like Apple is the only one...

Kid A is (for the 00s)
1# in BEA.
1# in RYM
1# in acclaimd music decade chart.

so I don't think that there's any discussion left. Personally I prefer funeral, even if I like a looooot Kid A too.

also

Rolling Stone #1
Pitchfork #1

probably the 2 most significant critical sources of the 00's and very weird that they agreed on number 1 considering that they go for very different things consistently.

Crash won the Academy Award for Best Movie. Quality counts for dick when it comes to critical praise.

I still cry myself to sleep sometimes when I remember Brokeback Mountain losing the Oscar to Crash...

If you watch this video, when Crash is announced the winner, Jack Nicholson who is presenting the award gives a total "wtf" face, and there is an audible gasp from the audience amid the cheering.

I don't know what's worse, this, Saving Private Ryan losing to Shakespeare in Love, or The Fighter and Social Network losing to The King's Speech. I mean, give me a break.

We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank-Modest Mouse (probably because of Isaac Brock's voice....)
Master Of Puppets-Metallica (dramatic drum producing...)
Badmotorfinger-Soundgarden (again an awful drum sound....)
Nevermind-Nirvana (oops....)
A Rush Of Blood To The Head-Coldplay (too many weak spots. although I never get tired of 'Clocks'...)
Script For A Jester's Tear-Marillion (again awful producing...)
Never Mind The Bollocks-Sex Pistols (right album at the right time, but I prefer the much more developed musicianship of The Ramones...)
