Naples, that is one of the reasons I have had you on ignore. You are an inane drone and I don't have time 2 teach you things about reality.

But I will make an exception on this one cuz I love cats.

Generally speaking no, cats shouldn't drink milk. Most cats are lactose (which are sugars in milk) intolerant & drinking milk may result in an upset tummy & cause diarrhoea.

Nutritionally it is not necessary to give your cat milk. A bowl of water is adequate.

It is kind of hard for other animals to go to the supermarket to purchase the milk and later store it in the refrigerator. But they do drink milk when available. Even rodents eat cheese and other dairy products. I never claimed that milk is complete and balanced nutrition.

Are you spinning old wives’ tales again? Did you learn your facts from Jones or Paul?

Is that because humans are the only ones with refrigerators? It seems like my cats enjoy a bowl of milk and have to fight the dogs off.

I'm talking about in their natural habitat. Not in your cave Naples.

By the way, you should not give cats milk.

Natural habitat? You mean the house is not the natural habitat of domestic dogs and cats? So where do you get your milk? Still from your mother's tits, naturally?

Humans are also the only ones who (in their natural habitat as used above, that is, without the aid of humans) eat ANYTHING cooked, be it boiled potatoes, grilled steaks, steamed broccoli, or baked bread. This argument against milk keeps popping up every now and then but is a weak one when put into a bigger picture.

I have yet to hear anyone speak up against steamed broccoli on the grounds that no other animals eat it.
