Most of the recently "chart of the day" look the same. I'll give credit here for a lot of obscure choices, but it's - just like most recently charts - focusing entirely on the alternative music scene from the 90's and onwards, with Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine etc. I do not criticize the chart, I'm just asking for more variety.

sorry, I'm not sure if you are questioning the choice of chart of the day, or the charts themselves. The chart of the day is chosen totally randomly within criteria documented at the top of the thread, so if there is a trend with recent charts, it's just by chance, and for no other reason.

I know, and it wasn't intended to be a complaint, thought I'll give that it might sound like one. I just state that most of the recent charts follow a trend of being packed with nothing but modern alternative, and it would be more entertaining if the next charts would be more varied - but I don't say that they shall be, and it's definitely not suggestion to change the way the the chart of the day is picked.
