As you probably know, the Beatles released five films in their career. In your opinion, which was the best one?

You can also mention which "soundtrack album" was the best.

I think the best soundtrack album was Magical Mystery Tour.

Stuck between A Hard Day's Night and Yellow Submarine for movies, though. Think

.

I love them all Very Happy

Agreed, Magical Mystery Tour is the best musically.

But, as a whole, I chose A Hard Day's Night. That movie has it all. And like most everything the Beatles did. It was ahead of it's time.

Help! has been my favourite since I was a kid. It's just so much fun. The others (apart from Magical Mystery Tour which is tediously awful) all have their own merits.

There are... uh... "preparations" which must be made before viewing such a film.

Let it be, is very candid, isn't it?
There's no script or anything
It's a documentary (or rockumentary if you prefer the term).
It shows you what was REALLY going on (more or less) right before the split up...

I voted for Hard Day's Night - I like it so much I could watch the movie any time - but Yellow Submarine is also brilliant. You just can't compare them because of the different genres. Yellow Submarine has incredibly creative ideas, a funny, but - for a little child - a bit obscure story, psychedelia all around the movie. I looooove it.
