Dylan: Only like his material up to 1967
Oh boy. Seriously, he released a few of his best albums after 1967, and you DON'T like them?
Nirvana: I don't like 'In Utero'
..........You're joking, right? In Utero is, IMO, a better album than even Nevermind and MTV Unplugged in New York.
I do agree with most of the rest, though (except possibly OASIS) |
Hi ya!
Well, one of the aspects that have most impact on music to me is singing. Sadly Dylan's voice was never up there after 1967
I do like some other stuff from 'Desire' and 'Blood on The Tracks'. But I can't even listen to, let's say, 'Modern Times' because of his long-gone shot voice. That's one of the reasons why, for example, I don't like late Zeppelin material, or I don't like Arcade Fire, Chris Cornell or Elbow.
As for Nirvana's 'In Utero'. Well, it's been a long, long time since the last time I heared the album complete. Probably I would change my opinion
