My favourite album by Nirvana, I love this album (yes, maybe I am the only one, but I listen to it more than Nevermind...)
Maybe because I am an acoustic-fan and I often prefer acoustic versions more than the original recordings. This album is a good example for that.

It shows us Cobain's very personal side, he sings with so much pain through the whole concert. The songs all have a special mood. It was a special show.

Amazing Leadbelly cover tops this one off. Nirvana's music isn't the best acoustic music, thus I find it awesome that he brought the Meat Puppets in to do that, especially since Nirvana's career had taken off. They didn't waste their time trying to turn all their stuff into acoustic, rather let others shine.

I am so glad they got the opportunity to do this so we could see this side of them.

Very insightful...

That is pretty much how I feel when I listen to this album (which is what I am doing right now)!

I was never, and still am, a big Nirvana fan, but Unplugged is a great album. Great acoustic versions of well known songs, great choice of covers, and that Leadbelly song is a perfect haunting finish!
