Overall - definitely 100. Okay, great; 500 would allow you to be like Rolling Stone. Amazing. But besides your own choices being there to view, who will sit through them all?
Decade - 100 is the max; keep it that way.
Year - 50 as a max. Allows users to make their own mind about that year. Last 5 years I have listened to probably 150 per year, so I could make 50. However I have only listened to about 20 from 1987. Not going to put them all in.
Recently I went through my decade charts and made them more succinct. People can make up their own mind on how many. I would love to have all of my albums I own on here. But there is the collection function and who seriously cares about my 98th album of 2001 (possibly Echo and the Bunnymen's Flowers)?
