This album is always floating somewhere in my top 3 Radiohead albums. The sound on this album is just so great, with it being the most danceable album that Radiohead has put out.

After AMSP, this is my number 2 Radiohead album. They took all their strengths and emphasized them on In Rainbows. They took the experimentation of Kid A and turned it into a more accessible sound while still being completely creative in the studio. To me, In Rainbows is their most creative album, and lyrically it is favorite. Thom gets really introspective and personal. Rather than push a political agenda or talk about huge world issues, he slows down and speaks to the everyday issue of the everyday person struggle with relationships, emotions, self-esteem, anxiety, etc. It feels so much more personal than their other work. Reckoner is my favorite track from the album, but 15 Step and Nude are also among Radiohead's best.

Absolute truth. This is just so good, and as someone else mentioned, the sound is great.
In my top 20 of all time and the best album of the 21st century so far.

My ranking of the tracks:
1. Videotape
2. Reckoner
3. All I Need
4. Nude
5. 15 Step
6. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
7. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
8. House Of Cards
9. Bodysnatchers
10. Faust Arp

7/10 songs I rated 90 or higher. Insane.

I really struggle with picking an all time favourite album. I'd prefer to just have a bunch of albums I love. That being said, when someone asks me what my all time favourite album is, I invariably say In Rainbows. Every song is absolutely gorgeous. The band moves away from the sometimes impenetrable experimentation of their previous three albums, and focuses on writing great songs. Combining the electronic minimalism of Kid A and Amnesiac with the more guitar driven sound of OKC and HTTT creates what is perhaps the most complete Radiohead experience, and certainly, as has been said, their most emotional album.

This album grew like nails with me, dry radiohead, love it. Sad that Weird Fishes/Arpeggi is overshadowed by Reckoner and Jigsaw in many site including BEA, it's one of Radiohead's best efforts.

Terrific Radiohead album and in my Top 100. It's got to be one of the best albums produced this century. And I paid 50 pence for it when they released it initially online and let you name your price. Favourite track is Weird Fishes but I also like Nude and Reckoner and all the others. It's a very emotional album. I always enjoy playing it.
