I could gush about the wonders of Arvo Part in general and this album in particular, but I can really add nothing to Stephen Eddins' review on Allmusic. This one sentence sums this album up nicely:
"The result was music suffused by an unhurried, luminous serenity, and while it was distinctly contemporary, it had an archaic quality that tied it to the music of the very distant past."
The end result, for me personally, is some very compelling listening.
