"Obsure" i actually pretty clever word-play.
As we all know "ob" means "if" in german. So it's "if sure", referencing lethalnezzle's favourite line "notsureifserious". Referencing lethalnezzle is of course a reference to Eggman's former signature about how he was right about some hip-hop-band, which was in turn a reference to Hayden's former signature.
And we come full circle.
