What do you think of this list?
Personally, I think the list has a lot of questionable bands, and a lot of good bands in the wrong places.

Thanks for that. Taken care of.
What's your opinion of the chart, Frogger?

Don't like it very much. Aside from Dylan I wouldn't put any of the top ten in my top ten. But it's a pretty safe list, so I'm not gonna get upset at it.

It's a list from a TV channel, they want a list where an aveage person can look at it and go "I know those bands!"
That being said, it's not horrible, and I applaud them for having artists like David Bowie up so high. Although some of the picks are just.....terrible.

These lists always get torn apart by people solely because one of very few artists didn't make it, in full honesty, this would probably be pretty close to a list your average BEA member would make.

That's bullshit. I think about 50 bands on here wouldn't be on the average BEA list. I'm not upset with this chart because The Antlers didn't make it, hell I'm not even upset with this chart, it's just a small safe chart. I just think it's a bad chart, and I think that goes for a lot of people. At least those that share that opinion.

You're not the average BEA member.

Let me explain the list:
step 1: Put in classics. Check!
step 2: Put in some recent artists. Check!
step 3: Put in some personal favorites. Check!
step 4: Put in some hip - hop artists. Check!
The only step they haven't taken is filling up about 10 - 20 slots with indie artists, but other than that, you've got your average BEA chart.

This...other than using these standards, which VH1 always does, this list makes absolutely no sense. _________________ <(: @ >
