Yikes, I do not like this chart at all, at least judging from the albums I've actually heard. :/

Wtf I'm surprised by the low rating. This chart looks really good. I'll probably be using this for recs. _________________

I think I stated somewhere recently (possibly the "Comment on other users" thread) that this was "the most influential chart on the entire site". That may be an overstatement, but I certainly think it's one of them. A great chart.

This is the first chart I ever saw on the site, back when I first joined, when I recognized almost none of the albums. I thought it was pretentious shit back then, but as I gave it a chance, I realized it's easily one of the best charts on the site.
I just wish gollux could have seen my changing tastes _________________ My top songs of the 2010s

When I saw Red Crayola, The Residents, Mingus and White Light White Heat in the top 10, I was ready to dismiss this as a chart made to impress by its knowledge of the obscure and less approachable. But I love nearly every record here.

It does seem like a bit of a pretentious list, but it's unique and there's some decent variety. Is Is and Telepathic Surgery are weird choices though IMO. Both artists have much better stuff. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
