I love the intro to Lateralus (the song) so much. Tool albums always seem a bit too much...Tool for me to take in one sitting though. But they have lots of good songs. Always good to listen to when you're angry.

Tool is a band that surrounds me nearly everyday but I've never actually heard a single note from them.
I'll have to finally give them a little some day.

Never listened to that either, and not really tempted to.

It's good, just not on the same level as Aenima. Schism is quality! _________________

This was my #1 album on the first chart I ever made on this site. I can't actually remember when or why I lost interest in Tool. I hope to rediscover the greatness of their music one day: it's powerful stuff if you get really into it, as far as I remember

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

Tool is a great band. I used to hate them, but now I think they're extremely enjoyable.

It's not bad. The riff on "The Grudge" is among the best of all time, and "Schism" is no slacker, either. That being said, it drags on and feels, as some have already said, like way too much to take in one sitting. It's good, but I rather strongly prefer its predecessor.
