I think kiki was merely expressing his surprise.

And I'll add that you might question the sincerity of a band that does its very best to sound American, down to the accent they take when they sing - not that I care personally, I'm just saying that for some who value sincerity, there's something, at least, funny about it, if not totally disingenuous.

At this point I'd like to state that I don't care one bit about this problem, seeing that I don't care about Yuck.

I have to admit that i only have one album of them and i didn't listen to it more then one time can't recall the fact that they have an identity issue with themself.

In general i don't care what origin a band has, if the sound appeals to me i don't even need to know

Maybe you shouldn't resort to stereotypes.

The cobwebs? Wink

Probably a mistranslated version of 'kink' though.

Either way, I laughed.

"this band sounds like other american bands and their singer himself sounds american" isn't a stereotype.

Well the drummer is American Razz For a while I really thought this band would be one of my favourite of the decade. The debut was fucking brilliant, the B-sides were all amazing, and even when the singer left the rest of the band seemed well off judging by the first couple promos of their sophomore record ("Rebirth" and "Middle Sea"). The rest of Glow & Behold was pretty weak and overproduced though for the most part.
