Er, does my list have to go from 1 - 100?
Can I divide those points equally at 50 pts/nom and list these alphabetically?

You can list them alphabetically, but "An American in Paris" will be getting 100 points while "Zoolander" gets only 1.

Why?
Ranking albums and movies in a specific order is stupid. That's saying the #1 choice is definitively better than the #2 choice, which is definitively better than the #3, and so on. Unfortunately through BEA, we have to make our charts this way, but I strongly oppose it because you can't measure/rank art the same way you can measure/rank a baseball player's fantasy value.
Another reason why ranking albums and movies in a specific order is stupid is because it takes too much time. It makes every placement a possibly lengthy, calculated decision. 'Hmm. I don't know what to pick as #1, and I have dozens of options...' And you have go through that 100 fucking times. Who has time for that? craola doesn't have time for that. If craola wants to participate in your survey in a way that makes sense, while saving time, let him.

That's nice. And I see craola has confirmed that, but you completely ignored the question, so I'll ask again:
Why do we need to send you a specifically ranked list in order to participate in your survey? I already explained how specifically ordered lists are stupid, and that they take too long to do. craola even admitted it when he replied:

All craola wanted to do was submit 100 movies and make them all worth 50 points. That's perfectly reasonable, and makes the survey much faster and easier. So why did you make craola spend so many hours doing it the hard way?
