Well fuck, that's 4 albums off my overall top 50 in the 2000 team. Haven't heard the other album or a number of other 1980 picks, but don't know how anything could beat this team

00 has Moon and Antarctica and Kid A which made me go for it, along with the singles.

I really like what Norman has thrown down here. Great call with that Only Ones record and naturally the classic Joy Division cut, but I graduated high school and started college in 2000 which has built an unbelievable connection with Skinny's choices this round. Moon & Antarctica, Since I Left You, Kid A, Internal Wrangler, Say My Name, One Armed Scissor are all picks that go to a very personal place. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I just want to put it out there that liking popular BEA albums is not being a "sell-out", and because by nature of this tournament we have to balance being both pragmatic with an audience in mind as well as exposing lesser-known personal favorites, sometimes particular teams can be geared more towards one sense than the other. Given with every year us captains are probably gonna put out a few albums that aren't personal favorites in the spirit of trying to, well, actually be competitive. And given with this team I love Moon and Antarctica and Since I Left You and, while being well-crafted, don't really get much personally from Kid A- but yes I probably would use all three if I were doing 2000. And there can be a personal touch if we use popular albums we love. Or I donno where I was going with this maybe I was just a little taken-aback with how Lethal's team was dismissed early on as being a sort of sell-out job, especially cuz it kind of seems to be going for a precedent if we use popular albums we don't absolutely love we're just pandering, even if Im sure there was a hint of irony in the statement.

I was totally joking. It's a game. I'm playing. I don't even care if I lose tbh, I've done my best except for that awful XTC mess vs. Dave.
No need to be so self-righteous when a competition is also about having fun pretending to be badass and accusing others of cheating when they don't. I'm just trying to have fun ffs.
