Kool Keith Sweat wrote: | My current overall is alphabetically ordered, because I can't decide placements, but the albums that would appear towards the top typically have several of the following characteristics:
-relaxed tempo, typically glacially slow
-a relative mastery of dynamics through tempo, volume, and/or other structure, or at least aware of them in most of the work
-a variety of timbres, beyond guitar, bass, piano, and rock drums, that typically leans towards woodwinds and percussion, despite most of the music I listen to still being rock; additionally, incorporating "world music"
-one or more master musicians exploring the bounds of timbre of their instrument
-an interest in repetition/minimalism
-typically less than 45 minutes unless it's one long song, in which case I love many 60+ minute songs
-not afraid of long songs
-not much focus on lyrics or vocals
-a musician's personal synthesis of disparate influences
that's what I can think of for now, but that pretty much generalizes my whole taste, except for that if there are lyrics, I prefer them to be pretty melancholy or spiritual
So... it's no wonder that something like

Wow, that is a fantastic description of that album, Laughing Stock is something unique, one of my favourite post-rock experimental albums.

Perfect all the way through, epic, beautiful, agggressive, was put out during my high school years which I believe most people are very nostalgic about music from their high school years and it also contains my favorite song of all time.

Animals by Pink Floyd
Well, this album just means a lot to me. It is some of the greatest guitar work I have ever heard. Each fill, hook and solo is so well done, and so beautiful... This album was the first album I listened to from beginning to end and just thought to myself "Holy shit. That was flawless". Hundreds of listens later and it still has that effect on me. _________________ "If I could just leave my body for a night.... FJSDKFJKAJFKFJKDSFDKSJF"

These are my two newest favorite albums.
Why do I love them? I love every song that is on them both, the way that each song is sung, and the way that they sound instrumentally.
God bless you and his family always!!!

I do not remember the name now, my favorite album but I know my time so I count the number one album became . I think the most important specificity that their owners should they affect me deeply . But this effect is not clear how that can be achieved , but does not necessarily imply an emotional or sentimental to have content. but I would say in a very vague manner that the stylistic fascinates me to abandon this style and can not place because the absolute stereotype I hate clichés .

Honestly probably because I fell in love with it at 10 years old, and 20 years later I haven't gotten bored with it... it just has massive staying power for me... why that is, well I'd have to consult my music psychology class... hehehehe.

This is a great album. Not my top 10, but still dig it a lot. Good choice.
