Day 2: A song you’re currently obsessed with (skipping for now)
Day 3: A song that reminds you of a friend:
Friend of a Friend: Dave Grohl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyU5mi3OWxo
When I moved away a friend of mine found this gym and put it on a mix tape for me as a good bye, but thanks to the internet we are still best friends 16 years later.
Day 4: A song you'd love to hear live (or hear live again)
Mussorgsky - Night On Bald Mountain... last time I heard it I was like 10 and it was by a week symphony... This at with the LA Phil at Disney Hall please, or to witness this recording with Leonard Bernstein and the NY Phil: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCEDfZgDPS8
Also I am sad I missed the opportunity to see R.E.M. before they broke up.
Day 5: A song for summer Ghost Town DJ's - My Boo
i don't even know what to say this is just the sexiest smoothest sweetest goddamn summer banger ever bar none
Day 1: A song that makes you smile:Polaroid by Sympathy Nervous
Try as I might I can't possibly sing along to this. I don't know robot or Japanese and this is both...
Day 2: A song you’re currently obsessed with:Blue Crystal Fire by Robbie Basho
Robbie Basho was just supposed to be some american primitivist guitarist but no he is actually Making Me Cry & Feel Spiritual.
Day 3: A song that reminds you of a friend:Leaving On A Jetplane covered by Sherri Dupree Day 4: A song you'd love to hear live: Genesis by Grimes
I would literally die at the first note...no seriously it might actually be too much for me. I really think I would cry a little bit!
Day 5: A song for summer:Molasses by Aye Nako
This was The Song last summer too so I guess it is just gonna stay The Song.
Day 6: A song you like from a movie or TV show you like:all the singing from The Cloud-Capped Star
This character was so beautiful and his singing was even more beautiful. this movie will change your life btw.
Day 7: A song that reminds you of childhood:Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne
this song is the coolest thing that has ever existed to a child. its still pretty cool. dude is on a train.
Day 6: A song you like from a movie or TV show you like: Elliott Smith - Between The Bars from "Stuck in Love".
This movie introduced me to Elliot Smith, when the guy played Elliot's song inside the car I almost cried.
I chose this video because is absolutely essential, I mean just Elliot playing inside a kitchen...
Day 7: A song that reminds you of childhood: The Beatles - I've Just Seen A Face
My father bought the vinyl copy of "Help" before I was born, so that was one of my first musical discoveries.
This song has something special, it reminds me a lot of lovely moments. _________________ Not Talulah?
- Gosh!
batman forever soundtrack was my jam. this is where I fell in love with multitracked vocals I think. can't really get down with it anymore but it makes me remember being 10 when I hear it.

ayyy Batman Forever nerds unite *cool secret handshake*
Day 6: A song you like from a movie or TV show you like Masahiko Sato - Take It Easy
Masahiko Sato's drugged-out soundtrack for Kanashimi no Belladonna is one of my favorite film scores of all time and is a big part of why Belladonna is one of my absolute favorite films of all time. I could've picked plenty of tracks from the thing but this piece of weird psychedelic jamming with all it's oddball percussion and i don't even know what else has so much personality and manages to suck you in with how unafraid it is to be just way fucking out there. Appropriate that this track in particular accompanies a beautiful surreal orgy (kinda looks like what you might see if you mixed a fuckload of LSD with just a hint of viagra)
Day 7: A song that reminds you of childhood
Ummmmmmm I didn't want to put this but whenever I think of music that reminds me of childhood this is inevtably the first thing to pop into my head

Day 8: An ideal ringtone song Prince - Raspberry Beret
The last thing I want to do is reduce this masterpiece to a ringtone track, but I mean if every time someone called me I got to hear this hook make love to my soul I would stop resenting having to talk to random strangers with wrong numbers. Shit I'm off to make this ringtone right now...
