I haven't listened to much of this but I was always annoyed by "Paradise"
I love their first two albums and I guess this is the point where the artist have evolved so much that their fan base feels betrayed so to speak.

Coldplay always sucked.

I used to dislike Coldplay in general but now I think the first two albums are solid although still nothing extraordinary. They're easily on the same level as Radiohead's post-Amnesiac work. Too bad the next two albums were quite uneven and after that they just became completely mediocre.

8. Major Minus

Thank you for properly recognizing the best Coldplay album.

Also Major Minus is a pretty fantastic song.

Also, Coldplay started out with that aesthetic I love - edgy enough to be alternative/independent, yet poppy enough to be played on the radio. Now I just have to agree they aren't that great. Like maybe INXS or something in the 80s?

"Charlie Brown," in particular is top five Coldplay for me..

It's probably one of the best tracks I've seen performed live, in all honesty. They just want it to be fun and the wristbands do exactly that.

EDIT: I FOUND A THIRD RECORD!!

*i am not sure if these records are still held or not, but here is the source.

Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. Ain’t too much of surprise. X&Y has some songs I like, but a lot I don’t. I stopped giving Coldplay a chance after Ghost Stories came out.

Nah, not even close.

True.

Hate Coldplay as much as you want, but they do sell records in an age where record sales supposedly suck.

As if that matters, but probably has some kind of worthless meaning.

I suppose that was a dumb question. Appreciate your response nonetheless.
