I like this album. I don't love it...but, I sure do like it an awful lot. "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova" are three of my all-time favorite singles. But, I'd never call an album "great" just because it had three really good singles. But, as for those three singles...yeah, they're "GREAT!"

Utterly bewildered as to why anyone thinks this is better than Definitely Maybe. "Wonderwall" was so much better when it was called "Life Forever" and "Don't Look Back In Anger" is like the worst song John Lennon ever wrote. The rest is forgettable with the exception of "Champagne Supernova" which is at least worth listening to but still can't save this dull awful mess.

Maybe it's because I only heard Definitely Maybe once, but I really felt that Live Forever was by far the best song there with only other good song being Married with Children.
On the other hand I thought there were several "good" (well.. above average) songs on "Morning Glory". And yeah I really really like the two main singles - Don't Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall. I'd say they're on par with Live Forever. And I know there has been some talk of Don't Look Back being a rip-off of Imagine, but past the first ten seconds of the song they don't sound anything alike.

btw, you can also view a previous date from the overall chart (dates go back as far as 28th June 2009 when the feature was added):
e.g. http://www.besteveralbums.com/overall.p...amp;page=3
This album was placed 30th on 28th June 2009 (now 34th).

(Also, planning on adding some graphs soon, so you can see how an album has ranked over time).

I am also looking forward to it Very Happy

I'm strange, fine.

But I've always had a thing for graphs and love the way they bring data to life.

I remember Oasis played the Benicassim festival in Spain about 5 or 6 years ago. They were headlining ahead of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Cave played in front of a mainly hostile crowd of Oasis fans. I was amongst them. Oasis followed Cave who I was their to see, and they were probably the most boring band I've ever seen. They are dull as dishwater. This album doesn't even register on my radar.
