D'Angelo
1990s: Brown Sugar
2000s: Voodoo
2010s: Black Messiah
Those are his only 3 albums too
Fugazi
1980s: 13 Songs
1990s: Repeater
2000s: The Argument
This one's a bit of a cheat since 13 songs came out in '89 and The Argument in '01, so it's only a span of 12 years
Scott Walker
1960s: Scott 4
1990s: Tilt
2000s: The Drift
Scott also has stuff in the 1980s and 2010s but I think those are his most notable projects. An interesting case having changed sound so much over the decades.
While not on albums, John Lee Hooker is a very interesting case. He released fantastic songs from 1948 until his death in 2001, including a few great albums in '89 (The Healer) and '91 (Mr. Lucky).
And of course I also feel obligated to mention Bruce Springsteen, although he probably falls into the more obvious cases like Bowie, Dylan, or Radiohead. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

I would mention Autechre had a lot of dope albums throughout the three decades and am quite curious how this decade will be for them.
For my picks
90's either Tri Repeate or Chiastic Slide
00's either Confield or Draft 7.30
10's either Oversteps or Exai
Honestly this could be way different for other users that enjoy this duo.

I suppose I'll pull my obvious card and arguably disappointing card -
U2
Boy (1980)
Achtung Baby (1991)
All That You Can't Leave Behind (2001) [I know what you are thinking, but say that to a whole generation of U2 fans who this was their entry point/still haven't heard Boy]
2010s - they incorrectly kept going (probably)
I guess there's this though (define great)- U2 becomes only band with number 1 albums in four consecutive decades:
https://www.iheart.com/content/2017-12-...e-decades/
R.E.M.
Murmur (1983)
Automatic For The People (1992)
Accelerate (2008) - ok well I think it's great - suck it.
2010s they correctly disbanded
Ok so now I'm gonna be that guy:
Bach
Brandenburg Concertos - 1721
Shit-ton of keyboard works like Toccata and Fugue, Well Tempered Clavier, Harpsichord Concertos -1730s
Mass in B Minor - 1749
Mozart
Eine Kleine Nachtmusik - 1776
His "late" symphonies - 1780s
Die Zauberflöte - 1791
Beethoven
Symphony 3 - 1805
Symphony 7 - 1813
Symphony 9 - 1824
Brahms
Piano Trio No. 1 in B major, Op. 8 - 1854
Ein Deutsches Requiem - 1869
Violin Concerto D, Op.77 - 1879
Double Concerto for Violin and Cello in A Minor - 1887
Intermezzi - 1894
Wagner
Die fliegende Holländer - 1843
Tristan und Isolde - 1859
Die Meistersinger - 1868
Der Ring des Nibelungen - 1876
Parsifal - 1882
Mahler
Symphony 1 "Titan" - 1889
Symphony 2 - 1895
Das Lied von der Erde -1908
Symphony 9 - 1912
Then totally agree with Fischman's Jazz account, except I'd totally add Louis Armstrong to that.

Neil Young
Everybody Knows this is Nowhere 1969
On the Beach 1974
Ragged Glory 1990
Flaming Lips
The Soft Bulletin 1999
Embryonic 2009
The Terror 2013
We'll see if they can...
Spoon
You could pick a couple for the 00's, but I love Girls Can Tell 2001
They Want My Soul 2014
2020s? I think Spoon will continue to bang out a great comeptent rock album every several years.
Pusha T
Hell Hath No Fury w/ Clipse 2006
Daytona 2018
2020s? He's going to to have another great album drop in this decade for sure
Converge
Jane Doe 2001
All We Love We Leave Behind 2012
2020s? I'm wondering how band like Converge settles into old age
The Knife
Sileng Shour 2006
Shaking the Habitual 2013
2020s? I know Fever Ray is kind of off doing their own thing right now, but hopefully we get a follow up to their monumental 2013 effort.
