As bizarre at it sounds given that I'm posting on a list-making website called "Best Ever Albums", I really have zero interest in listening to people further discuss those albums which have already been discussed more than any others. There is basically nothing new that can be said about them at this point, and most people with a degree of interest in pop music have probably already nailed their flag to the mast when it comes to their opinions on them. I love a large number of these records, but I also find them inherently uninteresting, due to their ubiquity in pop culture.

Good luck with the podcast though, man. Keep us updated if you ever decide to branch out beyond discussing the quote unquote classics.

thanks. i do understand your point of course. all you're really getting in the end is just personal anecdotes, reflections and opinions on the albums, not some truth.

to be honest, the podcast has forced me to go back and revisit albums that i rarely have been listening to for years. because most of them are so familiar. i mostly now listen to newer alternative and metal, without really committing to full albums. it's been interesting for me to go back to these albums after being away from them for a while.
