I like BEA the way it is now.

Besides, I'm still not even done making my charts yet Laughing

IMO Albummaster could use, and deserves, a break.

I like it too, and Albummaster does deserve a break. These are all suggestions for 2012, the next year, so Albummaster will be relaxing for a while. And it's not necessary that every single thing suggested should have to be there at the very start of 2012, that will be unfair; these will be done slowly, because, as you said, Albummaster deserves to have breaks in between.

If every single change suggested in this thread isn't cemented into law by the time the clock strikes Midnight, 2012, I am calling the cops on Albummaster for false representation.

You have 72 hours.

Besides year charts, a novelty I will enjoy, and possibly theme charts ("genre" oriented or other), I'm perfectly at ease with the site the way it is. Tremendous work has been done in 2011 to make it more and more user-friendly and enriching. Great job, thanks.

Laughing

Just taking a little breather until the new year is here (as much as I can get away with!), then time to put a plan together for 2012.

Song charts and artist charts are something for beyond 2012. That would be too much for next year bearing in mind there are already 2 or 3 big items on the list (year/fun charts & charts by tag).

The 'mass add to collection' feature is more a usability issue with the existing site than a new feature. Yes, something can be done to improve it, but it doesn't affect the scope of the site, so I've added to the list of smaller fixes.

Does anyone have any thoughts on an Android or iPhone app? Is that something worth doing?

Beyond 2012? Ooooooooo......... Shocked
But surely fun charts and year charts won't take a WHOLE YEAR?

On second thought, okay, take a whole year with developing them. I'm fine with song and artists charts in 2013.

These time estimates allow for the fact these changes will be done in my spare time which isn't always freely available. I have a day job which provides living expenses. If I didn't need a day job, these changes would get done a lot quicker!
