Yeah, another one I tried. I actually went through the whole album and even my wife commented on why I was listening to it. Still in my collection but just not going to get around to another listen anytime soon.

I had to fight a bit with This Year's Model after an ineffectual first couple of listens, but it clicked really hard on the third try. Now it's one of my favorites. Same for Madvillainy and Bee Thousand.
Verdict's still out on The Stone Roses and Astral Weeks. I've also tried Mecca and the Soul Brother, but none of the not-TROY songs can't even remotely live up to TROY.

Oh there are quite a few, but the one that I'd probably put at the top of the list is Who's Next. When I listen to it I can easily see that it's good music, and I can certainly appreciate that it was a great album in its context, but somehow it's just never been able to spark any sort of emotional response in me. I'm still trying, though.

Yeh... Who's Next is 4 stars from me, but I doubt it will ever be any higher.

Now 2 of them are in my top 10, on is in my 50-100 range, and 2 of the others ones still suck |
Exile on Main St. sucks? That one is the best album out of the ones you mentioned!

Same. Especially that beginning which was so freaking slow. But I still like it, and included it on my chart.

Tried plenty of times with: Funeral (worth it, gone from hating it to loving it), Daydream Nation (disappointed the first time, still don't like it as much as I'd want to, but it's alright), Soft Bulletin (still don't think it's great but I do love some of the songs that I didn't initially).
Also hip hop in general I guess... Also worth it
