Screw objective and rank them subjectively.

Have about 1400 with a rating on my list but haven't ranked them. Thanks to the new decade charts, I have split the list into decades and have rank orders for them but combining them all together for an overall chart would kill me (and possibly my marriage).

I have just under 3,500 albums on my iTunes alone, with who knows how many more scattered on a couple of hard drives. I couldn't rank my top 100 albums, let alone 3,500. At the end of the day i don't really care about the rank, i'm just happy to have the collection i have and enjoy listening to whatever fits my mood at the time. _________________ "Bunch of opinionated, hipster twats!"

But I have noticed that my opinions of an album, especially when compared to other great albums, sometimes changes. Hence never being satisfied.

I've started rating and ranking albums since I started really listening a lot to music, so all my albums are ranked from 1 to 1100. The first being Is This It? and the last La France des couleurs - Idir.
Actually I love ranking things

My rank only 250 album up. The number will grow, when I come to make a list of decades (maybe next summer?) 350-360 listed on the disc. Why make a huge listing? Ok, here I talk with my colleagues ... I call the tip of albums My favorite things250. 250 next, I call the disc gangs named Second Hand Albums. These are only in my mind the irregular list. Is not the favorite lists have a pyramid-shaped structure? So, in the same place is more of a disc. I could shed light on the lower ranks, from the same can be found in places such as Tupelo Honey, Eliminator, Brothers in Arms ... I also make lists of the movies, and I do not have them no longer set to the same lists. I have created the movies such as titles, a sister list, a list of alternative, parallel list, a list of undervalued ... Orson Welles' Citizen Kane (1941) simply does not fit the same category as Todd Haynes movie Poison (1990).
BTW, If you look at current ATP list you will see there:
1 Djokovic Novak (SRB)
2 Nadal Rafael (ESP)
3 Federer Roger (SUI)
.
.
.
1,087 Rac Christopher (USA)
1,088 Spong Xander (NED)
1,089 Huey Treat Conrad (PHI)
The lower three men are on the same points, and who cares? ![Brick wall](images/smiles/eusa_wall.gif) _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNGpsnTCUXM
